The HP Dugout Club was established in 2009 to promote the Highland Park High School baseball program as well as the local feeder program. Our members consist of Parents, community members, and HPHS baseball alumni and supporters. The HP Dugout Club also promotes the ideals of community service, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and integrity among the members of the HPHS baseball program. We can use your help in donating your time to assist with Saturday afternoon cookouts, team dinners, community awareness and our annual charity outing.
We have many activities for parents to stay involved in our program. Please see some options below and let a member of our coaching staff know if you are interested in facilitating any of these opportunities.
Team Mom or Dad
Varsity - Parent who would like to facilitate the following team options: team dinners, Saturday DH BBQ’s, Baseball Program Banquet. The position only requires team mom/dad to organize the groups so these activities will run accordingly. Will be elected at our preseason parent meeting in March.
Freshman and sophomore - To assist coaching staff in sending out team information to all parents (I.e. game cancellations, fundraising info, etc.)
Varsity Team Dinners - Team dinners on a Friday evenings hosted by the varsity parents. Typically senior parents would be first choice for this opportunity but any varsity parents that want to assist please do so.
Saturday (DH) Cookouts - At each Saturday varsity home game we host a cookout between games. We typically have between 20-30 minutes between game one and two so this would need to be done in a timely manner. I ask that we provide enough food for the visiting team players as well.
Photographer - The baseball program would love for those that take pictures at games (lower levels included) to upload to our photobucket page.

Park Baseball Clinics
Varsity Banquet - At the conclusion of the season, we will host a varsity baseball banquet at the school, a hall, or restaurant. I ask that we keep the cost between $10-15/person. Typical night would include dinner and an awards presentation.
